George Davis
Licensed Massage Therapist #5011
I moved to Hawaii in 1986 and quickly fell in love with triathlon, marathon, and open ocean swimming…but the training was hard on my body. My coach suggested I try massage and after experiencing the healing benefits of massage and bodywork for myself, I knew that helping people feel better was what I wanted to do.
I spent 4 intense years of training and emerged with licenses in both massage and acupuncture. Because of my connections within the triathlon community my first clients were all athletes. However, as I began seeing on more and more people – and began experiencing and incorporating new modalities into my work – I was able to address a much broader range of issues along with a more diverse clientele.
Fast forward 20+ years and the result is a very specific and effective pain management technique called Integrated Modalities Bodywork, IMB, that incorporates Western, Eastern, and Energetic work into a style that’s incredibly beneficial to anyone experiencing any level of myofascial pain or discomfort.
I’m so fortunate that The Pain Relief Center has grown from just me to a thriving Center that includes other IMB trained therapists as well as, Acupuncture, and Day Spa Services. I’ve also begun using low level lasers – incredibly effective technology that operates on a cellular level and is the perfect compliment to IMB.
My goal is to help people realize that they don’t have to live in pain… and that the best way to feel more comfortable is with consistent, effective bodywork.

Licensed Massage Therapist #14341
My passion for helping people heal and attain higher levels of wellness began while I was a medic in the U.S. Army. I’d always been a “Gym Rat,” and as I trained myself to be at my top level of fitness, other Army personnel started asking me to help them – which, of course, I did. Watching them grow, and change not only their fitness, but their lives was so satisfying for me that as I transitioned from Army to civilian life, I successfully pursued a career in personal training.
After I moved to Hawaii, I wanted to find more ways to help people heal. I continued my work as a professional personal trainer, but decided that massage therapy school was the first step on the path towards becoming a true body healer. It wasn’t long before my journey led me to Energetic healing practices, specifically Reiki (Japanese), Qi Gong (Chinese), and Huna (Hawaiian).
From there, it was a natural progression to obtaining a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. My studies at The World Medicine Institute, located in Honolulu, HI are now complete and I will receive my Acupuncture license by the end of 2018. My educational areas of study include: traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, Taoist medicine, Qigong, and herbal medicine.
I’m grateful that my passion for wellness has brought me on this journey and I’m committed to being a benefit to others by teaching them about wellness and helping them to attain the healthiest bodies possible.

I’ve always known that I wanted to be a Massage Therapist. InAugust 2005, when I was 21 years old, I finally made that dream come true when I decided to go to Massage School. Since then my skills have grown exponentially and I’m constantly grateful and amazed that I’m able to help heal people from both a physical and energetic level.
I’d been honing my skills as a massage therapist when, in May of 2009, I decided to go back to school for an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Cosmetology. I saw it as an opportunity to broaden my horizons and to complement my already growing skills set.
Then, in April of 2018 I became a Reiki Master, an achievement that was instrumental in helping me become the healer that I am today.
My path continues to be one of growing enlightenment, one that has helped me get in touch with my higher self which, in turn, allows me to be more empathic and energetically connected to everyone I work with. My intuitive abilities have grown to encompass not only the physical aspects of bodywork but also the energetic and spiritual realms of healing.
My purpose in life is to help people be a better version of themselves and to educate them on how to accomplish that by changing or doing something small each day. Helping others helps me fulfill my purpose in life.
